I'm a bad blogger

I know I have been slacking blog-wise lately. I just haven't been doing that much knitting. Although for some reason lots of people have asked me to knit stuff for them. I'm definitely happy to, especially since it's stuff like iPod cozies that will take maybe an hour. I was going to sit and knit for a couple hours at school this morning, but (obviously) I got online instead. Although I don't have class until 11 and it is 9:50 right now, so I might knit for a half hour right beofre I go to class. Or maybe I will just knit on the bus home today. We will see! Anyway, I am still working on the Vintage Knits cami. I am a couple of inches into the back. I haven't really had the time to sit down and put hours into knitting lately since school is back in and my social life has been out of hand. So needless to say, I haven't really made much progress with anything, but I have gotten used to knitting with my cast. When it comes down to it, you really don't need you thumb to knit! However, my cast comes off next Monday and I can't fucking wait! I am looking forward to showering without a plastic bag on my hand, being able to write legibly, and just being able to grasp things properly!

titles are for suckers

I just went shopping at the mall and didn't buy anything. And I had money, too. It's a miracle! Although I'm shopping online right now, hahaha. I think there are some flats I want that I found at Hot Topic that they didn't have in my size. I like them because they have lightning bolts, and that is simply hilarious.
I have actually been trying to knit with my cast on (cast on? what?) and it has been working now that my hand is less sore. But I am really worried about my gauge being off because I'm knitting differently than usual, but it seems okay so far. I really am literally stopping after every row to examine it and make sure that it's not all goofy/off. I am really happy, though and it is such a relief to knit. You don't really realize what it really does for you until you can't do it. I felt like I was going nuts! I have made a little progress on the VK Cami, but I did have to rip back several rows to fix a mistake I decided would just bug the shit out of me if I didn't fix it. Mostly because I really couldn't figure out how I did it.
I have a ton of pictures of random shit, i.e. New Year's with me and my cast, that need to be put up but I am lazy and procrastinating. But I go back to school next week so I will probably putting more time/energy into blogging because blogging = procrastinating! I will do anything but school work when I am in school.
